Love and Desire

This is a talk given by Prof Krishna at IITM as part of reflections group talks on 15th march. He has explained love and desire in a decent way. Some of the excerpts that I have listened to (with some cat naps in between) are given below.

• Wishes are innocent.
• Desire = wish + ego
• Different meanings or kinds of love
• I love to have coffee in the evenings

• The soldier died in the borders because he loves his country

• How to love your work without expecting anything from it?

I didnt remembered exactly the things, but his talk is well received by the students and the some of the faculty members attended. He replied well for the queries after the talk by students. "If you desire something that means you are narrowing your self" is one sentence quoted by Prof Krishna.
